Who We Are
Smith Entertainment Television also known as "The SET" is a start up family owned business. Al Smith is the CEO and has a background in mortgage banking, investment banking, private placement offerings and finance that extend as far back as the mid 90's. Family business advisor and nephew Edwin Benton III plays a vital role in technical details for the production teams so that we provide quality content to our viewers. Edwin has a bachelor's degree in film from Utah University and has independent pilots for situation comedy shows, documentariies, movie shorts and commercials. Edwin has worked with actors Kareem Grimes (All American, S.W.A.T., Boyz In The Hood), Ludacris, Ice Cube and more. Edwin has also planned, funded and promoted live concerts featuring DJ Quik. Actor Antwon Tanner is also an advisor to The SET and brings on screen experience and the experience of on set production for shows produced and brought to you by The SET. Our mission is to bring coverage of unexplored events and entertainment on multiple platforms to include all but not limited to sports, reality events, independent film projets, movies, podcasts, live sports, live community events and much more.
